1. What you're agreeing to

By creating an account or using Senshin, you accept these terms. If you're acting on behalf of an organisation (as a PM, programme manager, or delivery lead), you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to this agreement.

2. What Senshin does

Senshin is an AI-powered Project Delivery Operating System. It provides:

• Deterministic reasoning — signal extraction across 29 dimensions including schedule, budget, RAID velocity, resource contention, and governance proximity.
• AI-assisted judgement — three depth levels (Observe, Advise, Challenge) powered by large language models, calibrated to your project context.
• Structured delivery tools — Control Tower, RAID management, financial tracking, stakeholder RACI, activity scheduling, and dependency mapping.
• Export and reporting — PowerPoint SteerCo packs, Word briefings, and Excel data workbooks.

3. Your account

• One person per account. Credential sharing is not permitted.
• You must provide accurate professional information — name, email, and organisation.
• You are responsible for the security of your account. Use a strong password and enable biometric lock where available.
• Notify us immediately at security@senshin.io if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Your data — you own it

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Senshin, including projects, RAID items, financial records, stakeholder profiles, activities, artefacts, and any documents you upload.

You grant Senshin a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your data solely to operate the service — including AI analysis, signal computation, and narrative generation. We never use your data to train AI models, and we enforce a no-logging, no-retention policy on every AI request.

Senshin also derives irreversibly anonymised, aggregated benchmarks from project data (budgets banded, all identifiers removed, results only surfaced for cohorts of five or more) to provide peer comparisons and improve the service. This anonymised data is not personal data and cannot be traced back to you. You may turn benchmarking off at any time in Settings → Privacy, which stops it and deletes any anonymised snapshots already held.

Data portability

You may export your data at any time via the Export function (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) or by requesting a full JSON export from data@senshin.io. On account termination, you have 30 days to export before deletion.

5. AI-generated content — advisory only

• AI narratives, recommendations, and confidence scores are generated from your project data using deterministic reasoning and large language models.
• Confidence levels are calibrated but not guaranteed. The PM retains decision authority.
• Senshin interrogates assumptions and surfaces hidden risks by default — this is analytical scrutiny, not criticism.
• We do not guarantee that AI output is complete, accurate, or suitable for any specific decision. Always apply professional judgement.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Senshin for any unlawful purpose or to process data you do not have rights to.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Interfere with the service, other users' access, or our infrastructure.
• Upload malicious files, malware, or deliberately harmful data.
• Resell, white-label, or redistribute Senshin without a written Enterprise agreement.
• Use automated scripts to scrape data or abuse API rate limits.
• Misrepresent AI-generated output as your own professional certification or audit opinion.

7. Plans, credits, and payment

• 14-day free trial: full access to evaluate Senshin. There is no free tier beyond the trial.
• Professional: £49.99/month or £499.90/year, per seat.
• Enterprise: contact us for pricing, with SSO/SAML, RBAC, white-label and dedicated support.
• Senshin is billed per seat — each user needs their own paid licence.
• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. All prices exclude VAT where applicable.
• Additional AI credits can be purchased on demand. Credits do not expire within your billing period.
• You may cancel at any time from Settings. Cancellation stops all future payments; your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
• 14-day money-back guarantee: if you are charged and change your mind, email billing@senshin.io within 14 days of the payment and we will refund it in full.
• Annual plans: if you cancel an annual subscription, contact us and we will refund the unused whole months on a pro-rata basis.
• We may adjust pricing with 30 days written notice. Existing annual subscriptions are honoured until renewal.

8. Service availability

Senshin runs on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, europe-west2). We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is communicated via in-app announcements with at least 24 hours notice. We are not liable for outages caused by Google Cloud, network providers, or force majeure events.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Senshin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity — arising from your use of the service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Senshin in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £500, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

10. Intellectual property

Senshin, the Senshin logo, the enso mark, "See · Shape · Lead", and the platform's user interface are the intellectual property of Senshin. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute them without written consent.

The deterministic reasoning engine, signal taxonomy, and AI prompt architecture are proprietary to Senshin.

11. Termination

• You may close your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with notice where practicable.
• On termination, your data is retained for 30 days (export window), then permanently deleted.
• Audit log entries are retained for 24 months after termination for compliance purposes.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are an Enterprise customer, alternative dispute resolution may be agreed in your contract.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification and email with at least 14 days notice. Continued use of Senshin after the notice period constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may close your account and export your data.
